We're going to Africa!!!! 19 days! I am sooo excited. We're going to Johannesbery, Botswana and Capetown. It's going to be soo romantic and I get to see animals and in Capetown I get to dive in a shark cage. I've always wanted to do that. Just had to share, Im thrilled!

That sounds fantastic Collette.  My bf and I are planning on getting to Africa in the next 5 years to do shark diving.  We have done it with Bull Sharks, Nurse, Sharks and Blacktip Sharks, but we are nut jobs and we REALLY want to do a Great White dive.


If we don't make it there we will definitely go to Isla Guadalupe in Mexico which is another good Great White diving site.  I can't wait to hear how it goes:)!!

you girls are freakin' crazy


sharks are in my top 3 biggest fears. Did you see Open Water?!!? Have you watched Shark Week? Please tell me you will wear that chainmail suit.

I saw Open Water and the bf and I loooooove Shark Week!  I don't think that I would do the chainmail suit, but I would do the wet suit in the cage.  That is what I did the last time I did it.  It was soooo cool.  I actually feed a nurse shark and petted a Bull Shark!!

It's funny because my biggest fear is drowing and sharks and I think that's why I love diving so much. I'll do the cage because I have to with the Great Whites with a wetsuit.


In all the places we've been diving I havn't had the luck yet to see any Sharks so this is going to be amazing for me.


 


Farrah where have you been diving? Isn't it the most amazing experience to be underwater like that?

wow, africa sounds amazing!!! I have to agree with halleybird about the sharks....i am terrified of them and often have trouble getting into the ocean at all.

Collette, you honeymoon is going to be amazing.
Halleybird you are too funny, that would also be my reaction if i saw a shark.

Yeah Collette, your honeymoon sounds like it will be amazing, but I'm with Halleybird on the whole shark issue
