i just wrote a WHOLE LOOOONG post about what should i get for my parents as a wedding TY and the whoel freaking post deleted itself (i refuse to admit it might be might fault).


bottom line...


They are hosting and paying for the entire event and all related parties(rehearsal dinner, 2 showers and 1 eng party). his parents managed to pay for 1 lame eng party(but that's another post).


I am at a total loss about what to get for them.... please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

How about a romantic getway for just the two of them someplace?  maybe at a resort or hotel spa?

great idea. My SIL did this for my inlaws when she got married (they organized the whole thing and paid for every last $). She surprised them with tickets to their favorite group (The Eagles, LOL) in Colorado (their home state). They never go on vacations, but they loooooved it.
