It would be about $15,000 to have a 150 person guest list.  Thoughts?

It looks awesome but seems pretty expensive.. Maybe try to work with them.. they could include centerpieces or your cake in that price.. That would make it a little more reasonable.

Depends what the average cost is for your area. For DC where I am having my wedding that would be VERY affordable. ONe thing that caught my mind was the Chef's choice for hor d'vores I am a control freak and I want everything to be MY choice.

it looks beautiful! I agree with nyc_shopgirl, though -- it depends on your location. In Phoenix, that would be really overpriced, for instance.

I guess I would have to see if that was the only stuff included.  That would be pretty pricey in my area.  What is your budget?  You still have to include a dress, a cake, a photographer, a videographer, centerpieces possibly, flowers, there was no mention of a bar so would that be an extra expense you might want to incur?

This is definitely one of the priciest places in the area.  We've decided that the location and photography are the two most important things to us, so we will be splurging a bit on those and using my bargain-hunting skills to do the rest.  My SO spoke with the site coordinator, so she's sending us an information packet with interior pics of the place.

We're having a really hard time finding a place that is 'the real deal' - we actually went to look at this 'mansion' that would have been $10,000 to rent for a half day with nothing else included.  The 'mansion' was about 12 ft deep, the paint was faded & chipping, the guests would have had to park in rocky/muddy grass, and if you looked out the back windows, you saw a huge cliff and piles of trash!  Um, I don't think so!

Anyway, I'll try to post some inside pics of this place when we get our packet.  Thanks ladies!
