I'm looking for an underwireless bralette that doesn't give monoboob but is supportive. Does such a thing exist?? I abhor underwire and really want something comfortable but that still give me some shape and support. Support is KEY as nursing two babies really did a number on the girls.
Do you want a bralette or just a bra without an underwire? A bralette generally doesn't have separate cups, and if it does they are different from a regular bra. Honestly, a "bralette" isn't going to be supportive as a regular bra because they are softer. There are tons of wireless bras out there, though. You can go to Figleaves.com and search by "no wire" and then your size. They have customer reviews so you can read about support, etc. I don't know any specifically because I always wear underwires.
Have you been professionally sized lately? Especially after pregnancy and nursing, your size may have changed. If you are in the correct size, there shouldn't be anything about an underwire that bothers you. It won't poke you, constrict you, etc. if it's the right size. It will just lie flat against your body and circle around your breast.

Yeah, I have been fitted since having the kids. I used to be a 32 D
I think you're right about having trouble with fit. I actually think I'm smaller than 32 but because they don't have anything smaller than that at VS she just said 32, grr. If I use this website as a guide to measuring my own size I'm a 30 B, and that's adding an inch to round up.

I'm just having the hardest time finding a bra that's actually comfortable.
I have these from the Gap and while they are comfortable, they are just not supportive and don't look that great under clothing. http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=41386&pid=111440
I've gotten a few at JC Penney. I use them over the top of my regular bra for v-necks or low cut dresses/tops but they still may work for what you are looking for.
Sorry I can't seem to post right, but my faves are from Honeydew, Wendy Glez, and Cosabella. I wear them under tanks, tees and dresses and they're sexy and supportive enough for me (small 34B) but also come in smaller sizes (XS) for the band part.
I think ttara's right--I don't think a bralette is what you're looking for. I think of bralette's more as a training bra.
Anyway, the only thing I can think of is the VS Ipex bra--I think that one is the one without an underwire.
The other thing I'd suggest is that you head over to your closest Nordstrom. They'll fit you properly and they have a good selection of a lot of brands and generally their sales people are very knowledgable. They'll be able to help you out.
