I need help finding a specific Marc Jacobs jacket online. It is a knee-length gold coat, but it's specific name for the color is WHITE GOLD. It has big ivory buttons and it retails for $468. It looks a little like a mix between a trench coat and a pea coat, the way the buttons are spaced, but it is not double breasted. Across the waist there is a strap looking thing that buttons across your hips...if that makes any sense. It's style number is W13453, if that may help me find it. It is 78% cotton, 22% polyester. I know my description is really vague, but I could really use the help finding it. I have no idea what season it's from...any help is greatly appreciated.
Is it MJ or Marc by Marc Jacobs? If it retails for $468, wouldn't it more likely be a Marc by Marc Jacobs coat? MJ's signature line runs into the thousands. I searched for both lines and came up with this MJ coat:
I distinctly remember seeing a coat similar to the one you described on eBay last year, but I was unable to find it.
Omg jamiek!! I am almost positive that's it! Thanks so much for you help too, Jackie0527...that coat is also gorgeous. The reason that I was asking for an online pic is because I was in a local consignment store yesterday and found this coat-
For $150 with its tags and everything...so of course I bought it (It was the deal of the century IMO! Because it's even my size...) and I just wanted a pic of it online if that was possible. So now I am sooo excited to have a pic to verify my pruchase! Thanks again...I didn't think anyone was going to be able to help me.
you're welcome, fairywings. I'm glad I got the right one...I was trying to look for ivory buttons and that was pretty much the only coat I saw with big ivory buttons. oh yeah, and it's from the Spring 2003 collection if you were wondering.
