So I *finally* got my economic stimulus check and have decided to use a portion of it solely for myself...sort of a belated birthday gift. The rest will go to regular expenses but I'd like to spend $150 to $200 on myself...and more importantly on my wardrobe. I'd like to find some things that are bit more unique and dramatic looking than the usual stuff I end up buying. I've finally started to embrace the fact that I don't look good in preppy clothes! Anyone seen anything out there that just screams Leah_Leanna? ~TIA
I'm partially trying to base these on your TS pictures but also just posting some things that I think are pretty and different and inexpensive.
For accessories and jewelry I think etsy is a great place to look. Prices and shipping fees are usually low and everything is going to be different from what you find in mall stores.
My sister has two bags from Tamami Ko and they are really pretty. Here are some that are available right now:
luxdeluxe has a wide variety of things - simple and classic, romantic reworked vintage and edgier things
Some clothing ideas...
I've loved this AE dress ever since Elle posted it. I noticed that you wear a lot of blue and I think this would look great on you but the black could be more versatile and would look great with brightly colored shoes and flashy jewelry.
Lately I've been browsing the clothing at Zappos - it's not the biggest selection but at least you won't waste money on shipping if they don't work out. Everything below is $100 or less and some come in other colors.

>Miss Sixty >Michael by Michael Kors >Diesel >Fornarina
Casual summer dresses under $50 from Zappos:
From Endless (also free shipping and returns): Steve Madden Nine West Pink Studio
I did some one-stop shopping at Francesca's Collections for you...you could get all of this for under $150.
Sorry for the lack of variety but I have been having a hard time posting from most retail websights but with Francesca's it's a smooth process...but thanks for asking for help because while I was looking for you I found some things I want for myself. I just bought the yellow shoes for me.
Thanks you three for the responses! C CC-I'm definitely considering purchasing a bag. Thank you so much for sharing that site with me! I love the antler necklace also. And I never realized Zappos carried clothing lines also. That silver Nine West bag is one I remember from an add campaign a while ago...I really liked it then! Kitty- Thanks for your suggestions also. I really like the green wrap top and the turquoise embellished tank. I may actually have to stop in a Nordies soon....haven't been in a long time. Travelgirl-yet another new suggestion! I'm definitely checking this out! Thanks!
