hmm...the leather and cork underside of the shoe seem kinda shiny to me.  could be just the pic but if they look like that in real life they might seem kinda cheapie.  but if they don't have that weird shine in real life then i say cute, for very simple, very beachy outfits.

I saw them in the store and the bottom is made out of that weird, icky fake cork stuff.  I think you could find something nicer that doesn't cost that much more.  i do think they're kinda cute though, I just really hate fake cork.

They are kinda Jessica Simpson-ish. I don't know if that's good or bad. BUT the outfit you described sounds cute. Plus they are cheap so if you only wear them once... who cares?!

I may order them and see what they look like, they did remind me of jessica simpson. I only like 1/2 the stuff she wears so I wasn't sure either.

Check out Candies if you like the look of the front of them. They made a similar pair last year but with wood heels instead of cork bottoms. I'm sure they will have something similar this year.
