After reading many posts about the amount of $ spent on clothes here and on other forums I thought it would be a kick to post how much was spent on our daily outfits. Then we can see where we spend/save and yet still manage to look cute.
Okay here's mine...(don't laugh it was a bad morning and a Friday to boot)
Jeans-$139 (CoH Stretch Ingrids) Men's Small beater(under everything, for warmth)-$8 for a 5 pack Men's Large beater(over the small, for layering purposes)-$8 for a 5 pack Grey thermal LS-$13, from JcPenney Uggs-$130 Mint green F21 scarf-$10 LV Speedy 30-$515 (I carry it everyday, so I think it counts...)
Total: $811 wow..... This is all before taxes/shipping too...
white Free People ribbed short sleeve shirt - was $54- bought on sale for $15
Yosca branch/pearl cuff- $178
Fossil watch (I always, always wear this)- $65
Dedemetal Angel wing necklace- $82- bought with discount for about $60
Ariat Fatbaby cowboy boots- $103
Beige leather tote bag bought in France - $150
total: $684, hmm...I kept forgetting pieces (like the bag that I added in at the end)- stuff really adds up, but at least I wear a bunch of the same pieces in a lot of different ways (rationalizing the spending)
I'm a little late, but this is interesting to read. Ok, here's me today:
1. white l/s thin shirt, gap $20 2. red and cream patterned collared shirt, vintage $10 3. light grey thin cashmere sleeveless sweater, j.crew $30 (on sale) 4. bra/underwear, vickie's @$40 total 5. tan cords from gap, bought at a thrift store for $1.50 6. grey flats, nine west $20 (on sale) 7. grey leather/snakeskin purse, vintage $10 8. earrings, made myself $2.00 (for the stones) 9. watch, anne klein II $75 10. light tan trench coat, theory $400 TOTAL: $608.50
Huh. I thought my total would be less than that. I'm wearing some of my vintage/thrift store finds, so I figured this would be a cheap outfit. I've had my watch for over 6 years and it's not really that nice. It's nice to see the deals people have gotten on their items. Yippee for sales!!!!
I forgot I wore a jacket today. That jacked my total up from $200 to $600. Ouch!!
