I'm looking for flat, black leather sandals that are sexy/dressy enough to go with a black pencil skirt and versatile enough to go with everything else. No patent and no ankle straps. Under $150 would be excellent. The ones pictured are Botkier and they are perfect, but they're a little beyond my budget at $245. TIA
IMO those are a bit too flat to go with a pencil skirt. At least the pencil skirts I have. All of mine are at about my knee or just below, and if I wear anything flat with them I just look stumpy.

Ttara- You're probably right, I was worried about stumpiness. I guess i'm trying to get away with the most stylish yet walkable shoe. I mean, I would be fine with a higher heel if the shoes were really comfortable. Hmmm....
Elle and Colette- Thank you for your help. I've been checking out a lot of the ones you posted.
I actually think that a pencil skirt can look great with flat sandals! If your skirt is not too long/too fitted and the rest of your outfit reads 'sophisticated but laid-back and unfussy' then I think it's hot. Not like you're trying too hard, ya know?
Besides if you wear bermuda shorts or capris or other more voluminous skirts with flats or sandals, the line is pretty much the same. Just sexier!
