I broke the ban...but this is the only thing I'd break it for. My brother is in town so he offered to take me to Fashion Island in Newport Beach and South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. At both Robinsons May stores, I found chunky knit tights!
I have been looking for forever with what seems like no luck, but now I have a brown polka dotted pair (yes they are cute, I swear...the polka dots are subtle and in really earthy colors) and heather charcoal cabled one. I am sooo happy! Now I can wear my Fryes with tights and short skirts, since they looked weird with all the opaque colored and black tights I had. They are the sweater tights from Hue, if anyone else is looking for some.
We also went to IKEA and bought my BF a desk chair because his is broken. Also some wooden hangers, some glasses since half of the ones I got are now broken (), and the $2.95 frying pan. IKEA rocks my world (*dork alert*)
The miracle is that I went to Bloomies, Nordies, and Neimans without so much as a flinch towards buying anything. And that even though I can't stop smelling my left wrist which has a spritz of Guerlain Jicky on it, I didn't buy a bottle at Neimans. I came close...even my brother said I smelled good.

honey, the one I go to is in Paramus. I don't know if it is accessible via public transportation. I know that there is a bus that goes to the Garden State Plaza in Paramus and that is nearby. It would probably take about 30 minutes to walk from there, so hopefully there is a bus someplace closer. I would think there is because there are a bunch of office buildings across the street from Loehmanns.
Across town, there is a Saks Off Fifth. Their stuff is way superior to the stuff at Loehmanns, but you really have to hit it at the right time (and I don't know when that is, sometimes I just get lucky).

I have this suit and I really like it. I has the trinagle top and then band underneath that keeps everything in their place. I am not afraid that stuff is going to pop out. I like the neck tie too because it is skinnier than most of the triangle/halter tops that I have.

I don't know, this is my first time to try it. I ordered it on Sephora, someone talked about it in the beauty and health forum so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll post a review once I get it
I have been using this deodorant for about a year now, and am still in love. For me it lasts through my 2+hour work outs (I will literally sweat everywhere except my under arms) and I absolutely adore the sugary lemon smell.
My mom on the other hand doesn't like it; she says it does nothing to keep her from sweating. I have noticed though that different people need different deodorants and just because something works for someone doesn't mean it will work for another. I think it is really worth the try if you want something totally different than what is available at the drug store. It is worth the splurge at $16.
LMonet, if you see this response twice its because I couldn't find my first response...
Anyway, I love the brown suit from JCrew. It fits like a dream and the bottoms give full coverage to my ample rear and the cut minimizes the look of my big thighs. The color makes my skin look warm and honey-like, as if I have already been tanning.
If you have been looking for a brown suit, definately visit JCrew; they have every cut and style imaginable in brown.
My favorite boutique had their winter sale this weekend and I ended up w/ a few things...
This lacey Nanete LaPore skirt is gorgous. This is the only photo I can find, it doesn't really show the details well. Boo - it is cheaper at Neiman's than the sale price I got it for...
I got this jacket in white.
I also bought and Un Apres Mide de Chien bag in purple, but I can't find a photo.
I am now on a shopping diet for a couple of months. I've spent all the money in my ING shopping savings account and I need to get it built back up. I think I'll be pretty set on spring clothes so hopefully it won't be too hard to avoid shopping for a couple months.
I'm holding out on shopping while I look around for some nice sweaters. I honestly hardly have anything to wear. I've gotten rid of a bunch of junky clothes and I'm rebuilding gradually.
All I bought this weekend was a blue leather case for my iPod mini.
