If I wore a Burberry trench coat with the Nova check print on the outside?

The reason I ask is because I'm still at my parents house going through there closets looking for stuff to sell on Ebay (my mom tried once but she is computer retarded so they let me sell their stuff and keep the cash...great for me) and I found a NWT Burberry trench. My mom went through a Burberry kick last year and forgot she bought it and now its a tad small on her. It's made of light weight material and the style is super cute because it hits mid-thigh, BUT it's got the plaid on the outside.

I HATE pretengious, copied everywhere, 'I'm so cool', logos and this basically yells look at me in my obviously Burberry coat. But I could see it looking cute with jeans. And its free.

So, my question is would you and others point and laugh if I wore it because it is such a blatent logo? And do you think people would think it was fake... God forbid.

Here's the print

TIA

I think it could look very chic with otherwise simple outfits.  Think black shift dress, red heels, head scarf and big Jackie-O shades.  Or jeans and a sleek black turtleneck w/camel shoes.  Bottom line is if it is flattering on you and you like it I think you could definately sport it, but it could probably bring in a nice profit on ebay too

Go for it, the only time that it is scary is when it is fake. I think that you can pull it off. If it was the Burberry hype was really high 2 or 3 years ago then no, but now yeah!!! Lucky you. You must tell us what stuff you sell on e-bay.

I think it would look great with a pair of straight legged wool pants in either cream or black. The Burberry logo overload has already seen it's time so I don't think you'll seem pretentious wearing the trench.

i think that is a great find! My mom would never have anything cool at all in her closet. I think Burberry is kind of timeless.
i would keep it and wear it until you are tired of it and then sell it on ebay. Someone will still buy it with years of wear on it.

I don't think you would be a fashion victim at all. I have one similar to what you are talking about. I just started to wear it now that everyone else in the world is not. I tend to dress it way down-Usually with jeans.
