Maybe it's just me, but i don't really want to spend $180 on a pair of jeans with abrasions that will eventually turn into holes. i don't usually wear my jeans once they rip anyway, so it just seems messy to wear them all abraded.
i have seem disclaimers with these jeans saying that they will continue to degrade and the seller is not responsible for that.
i really don't like most destroyed jeans. my one pair of jeans are very slightly distressed (a bit of fraying along the pockets and the back of the hem) but at the time, they were the only pair of jeans that i liked (i had gone through maybe 20 pairs at saks). i think there are some that are really cool looking, but a lot of them are gross and i also feel a bit dorky about buying fabricated destroyed jeans.
i'm torn. i don't dislike destroyed denim, but i definitely prefer the "look" when it occurs naturally. however i've seen people wearing those destroyed tr's and looking fabulous, so i think a lot depends on your personal style and how you wear them.
(i stole this post from someone's fashion website, and i really like how she's wearing them)
i actually own a pair of the tr bobby destroyed jeans, that i hope to wear very soon. so it depends.
I prefer the look when it occurs naturally. I've let my Seven NYD bootcuts develop holes in the knees and such and I still wear them like a noraml pair of casual jeans.
I am a huge fan of TR but I just cannot bring myself to spend $225 on a pair of destroyed jeans that aren't as durable as a pair of normal jeans. Some of the destroyed pairs are less destroyed than others IRL and I tend to gravitate towards those.
I have a pair fo the TR Joey destroyed and they are pretty much hands down the best jeans I've owned, in terms of the fit. I am in LOVE with TR. I don't think I've ever bought intentionally distressed jeans before, but these - well, to me they just look really, really good.

its amazing how much better they look on a real person than the website model. that girl looks really cute in the jeans that looked ugly on goclothing.
