One thing that I would bring would be a cute skirt that has the rouching on the waist. I know burberry has a cute one in their spring ads but I haven't seen a cute one in my price range yet. I will let you know if I see one.
Skirts and nice tops and maybe a copule of black dresses. I went on a cruise a while back and saw a girl with a damn prom dress and white pumps.........It took everything in me not to throw her over board!I always hewre older women looking for evening gowns for cruises .........It's really not necessary for any age range.Have fun.....My cruise to the Bahamas was cancelled @ the end of September...........DAMN HURRICANES! I hope to go on one this spring!
On both my cruises, I ended up wearing this stuff the most:
Bathing suit (bring one for each day if you can) and coverup
Cotton skirts (I brought 5 b/c you wear them to breakfast, lunch, the pool, shopping, etc)
Capris (b/c I can't stand shorts)
Cotton camis/tanks (to go with all the skirts)
A few sundresses (to wear to non-formal dinners)
A couple nice dresses (for formal dinners, shows, and pictures)
Comfortable walking shoes (for when you go ashore), flipflops, heels
A large-ish purse for going ashore (large enough for a water bottle and sunscreen)
Things I brought and ended up not needing:
Pants of any kind, a towel, blowdryer
Basically you are either really dressed down or really dressed up the entire time - I ended up either wearing stuff over my swimsuit during the day or dressed to the nines for dinner. Have fun and post pics when you get back!
