Winter jacket - help!

So my mother has offered to buy me a winter jacket (this is almost unheard of as my mother never offers to buy anything!) and I'm in love with this:




It's Erin Snow (was featured in Lucky and I fell in love). What I really want is something that will keep me Very warm (I'm a college student who walks everywhere, soon to be a New Yorker who walks everywhere..) and I want something at least a little bit stylish but classic. I think this totally fits the bill (I'd get it in black.) What do you guys think? Have you seen anything similar or anything else that you think would work as well? TIA!

Alas, the only size they have is XS unfortunately. It's down-filled and perfect, but you can't get it very many places because its a new designer. grr. If anyone sees anything similar, let me know!

Update on the jacket. I called Paragon Sports and the girl there tried it on for me (haha, great... I'm THAT customer) and I ended up going with the Extra Small. (I hate loose, big coats, but I'm PRAYING that it fits!) Anyhow, I'm obsessed and so happy! It's this in black.

Was it worth $220? I feel like it's something I'll really have for a long time because I Love it, it's stylish, and its warm (down-filled).

I really, really like that jacket.  After you posted it, I went to the site to check it out.  I wish I had known before they sold out!  What size are you, btw?  Maybe an XS would fit me too...

I'm a Medium in tops only because of my love handles. haha. I have a really small frame and generally have to go with XS or S for things like coats, blazers, etc that aren't super-form-fitting because I have short arms, small chest, small shoulders, etc. (Now if only the spare tire would cooperate...!) I wear a small in the North Face Denali jacket and the sales girl said she wears a medium in that jacket but this fit her except it was a tiny bit snug around her waist. So I'm feeling like that means this will fit. (Hopefully, haha) They have one more medium at the paragon sports on broadway in NY if anyone is interested also.
