I bought these JCrew pants and I love them because of the pale pink color and the way they fit. BUT you can totally see the pockets in the front and back. Even though the fabric is twill, the obvious pocket view makes the fabric seem more sheer.
I am fretting too much? I may get the pockets cut out, but that's kind of a pain. Thoughts?!?!
I have had this problem with every single pair of white pants I have ever bought! I always cut out the pockets on my own and if I am not too lazy, I sew the hanging pieces together, but you can't notice them anyway.
Have 'em cut out. I do this with any pair of white or light-colored pants. It's totally worth it to me. I like my clothes to be sleek and seeing the pockets totally ruins the look for me. Plus, it's not an outrageous tailoring expense to have it done.

Thanks ladies! I took your advice and sewed then cut. It was easier than I thought and I am so glad I did it. This has opened up a whole world of pant choices for me....
I've done this before too, and will only use a big needle and embroidery thread. It's much easier to work with and tends to hold stronger than a hand-sew job with a traditional thread.
