Every time I picture my wedding I picture myself standing w/my parents (I'm jewish we traditionally walk down w/both) and all my friends are standing up there in their dresses and everoyne i know and love is sitting and waiting for me to walk in and the music starts and the doors open and then.....
it gets me every time, but i won't cry at work.
i'm not one for attention but this is the moment i'm waiting for.
The moment I'm waiting for is the end of the day, and J and I coming back to our apartment, him carrying me over the threshold, kicking off our shoes, collapsing on the bed and just relaxing!

I've never been to a jewish wedding, so bear with me. Is the man already up there when you walk up the aisle with your parents? If so, the look on his face may make you cry. At all the weddings I've been to, the groom's face just lights up with joy when his bride walks in. It makes ME cry. It is so romantic. That really is a moment to look forward to.

Maybe this isn't romantic, but the only thing I could think of when I walked down the aisle was, "Oh God, don't let me hurl." Seriously. I don't remember a single other thing.
The moment that got me when I got married was when we said our vows. My husband's eyes were all welled up, and he never cries.

The best moment for me was when I first saw micha. we hadn't seen eachother or talked to eachother for 5 days before the wedding - so the anticipation was so exciting.
After that - my second fav. moment was when they opened the doors - and My parents were waiting for me to walk down the isle - I looked straight ahead and saw the most adoring look from Micha...I couldnt wait to get down the isle to be with him.
Not engaged QUITE yet but i am already looking folward to having my father walk me down the aisle...and looking to see Jon waiting for me at the alter.
We live in a small town and has sent out tons of invites. We were married in a large church. When my father came to the room to get me I asked if there were a lot of people, he told me the church was about 1/2 full. Inside I was wondering where everyone was. When the doors open I saw that it was packed, standing room only. Over 400 in attendance. I looked at my dad, he laughed. Then I noticed my husband who looked as though he was about to cry. I was so nervous so to make me laugh, when I was handed over to him, he wispered to me "So how much money did you spend today"? We both smiled and that really broke the ice and made me a lot less tense. It was a wonderful day. It will be for all of you soon to be brides also!
i am also looking forward to the end of the day, after all of the guests have left and i get to be alone with my new HUSBAND! i guess at that time, it will probably feel like all of the planning and everything was worthwhile. i am also looking forward to my dad walking me down the aisle and seeing B and the other end of it waiting for me, but i'm worried that my dad and i will both cry!

Might be TMI...but I was really looking forward to our first intimate moment together as husband and wife...we waited till after we got married and I'd say it was worth it :)
