I just checked my dojos, and it doesn't have "by Jerome Dahan" either. I bought mine last year at Macy's. I'm not sure if your dojos are fake or real. I can't really tell. With all the fakes out there, it's hard to say. HTH!

Jen I have two pairs, one from last year and one from this year - both from bloomies.  Unfortunately I didn't bring them with...but if you still don't know in 6 days (that's when I go back), send me a msg and I can let you know what mine say. HTH!

yup, they're real.  mine say that.  by the way, i don't know if i ever told you guys but through like three degrees of seperation i've always gotten all my sevens and citizens at like 60% off retail.  but the gig is up now, sadly

here's the story:

my good friend's husband is a high school basketball coach.  one of his players is the son of the former CEO of seven jeans.  the dad used to donate jeans to the team so that they could sell them to raise $$ for the basketball team.  the dad is like the most generous guy ever, he even paid for the funeral of one of the other player's grandmother because that family couldn't afford to.  anyway, back to the story.  then there was a fight between the three guys that started the company (seven) and two of the guys left (including the dad) and started citizen.  so then we got citizens for like 60% off.  so there was a big lawsuit between seven and citizen and they just settled for...$30 MILLION!!  so ever since then the dad hasn't been to the office and basically decided to retire early.  so now my connection to jeans at rock bottom prices is gone

but whatever it was a good run--i have 2 pairs of citizens that i only had to pay $60 total for them (but that's cause it was my bday and so my friend just gave me one pair as part of my present)--this was my 26th birthday so that was about a year ago.  and i have 2 pairs of sevens that i only had to pay $50 each for ($100 total) and that was the year before.

so anyway, the jeans that don't sell my friend sells on ebay, jmr i wonder if she's the seller of the ones you're looking at?  what's the seller's username?  anyway if it is my friend they're for sure real and the $ goes to the basketball team.  wouldn't that be funny if the seller was my friend?  it is just such a small world sometimes!  but on second thought maybe it might not be her because i don't think she has anymore to sell...i will have to call and ask. 

Thanks guys - I am going to get them - I need another pair to hem shorter so I can wear flats with them (the ones I have now are hemmed to wear my highest heels with)

i see that this has already been resolved, but i see that my citizens say "by Jerome Dahan" inside.  i wonder if those sevens are old cuz i heard about the split esquiress is talking about & i'm guessing Jerome is one of the guys who left since his name is on my COH's now & i doubt he's back w/ seven.  anyways, just musing to myself i guess.  congrats on the new jeans!
