So I bought my friend this diaper bag for her baby shower this saturday:
I already have a list of what I want to stuff in it (thanks to your responses from a previous post) but, I was wondering what the best brands/choices are for some of the items.
I have a budget of about $75 for everything (or more if some of the things really aren't as cheap as I think they are).
So... 2 bottles 3-4 diapers (I'm hoping I can find a pre-portioned travel size) baby wipes diaper rash cream (I think someone recommended Mustela) 1 blankie 2 onesies
I think I just need recommendations for the bottles, diapers and diaper rash cream, but any other recommendations are welcome! Also, they need to be available at B&M stores. I have Babies-R-Us, Target, Walmart, etc. nearby. Thanks!!
Huggies makes the best diapers and especially wipes. Pampers and Luvs are pretty good diapers too. A small travel pack is hard to find so maybe you could put a couple in the diaper bag and give the rest of the package to your friend.
For diaper rash cream, A+D works really good.
As for bottles, no particular brand, but ones with silicone nipples are better IMO.
Diapers and wipes: Huggies (especially the newborn gentle stuff for new babies) Diaper cream: Boudreaux's Butt paste works great! Or just good ole Destin works too (I like the fresh scent or whatever, smells like baby powder) Bottles: I use Avent and Xzavier has never spit up. And for blankets, if you are getting a receiving blanket I have a razzle baby one and it's the only one that hasn't pilled like crazy (I got mine at a local baby boutique).
