how do you guys feel about these? it seems like every last thing i have bought to wear or as a gift in the last few months has gone on sale (significantly, like 50%) right after the 2 week price adjustment period ends.
example: today i got an e-mail from j. crew showing that the pants i bought for $100 are now $70. it has been three weeks and i have already worn them once. is it ridiculous to kind of want to go buy a new pair of them for $70 and then return them with the $100 receipt? is this type of thing even allowed? i don't want to be a jerk, but i feel like i've overspent by hundreds of dollars all season long :(
bumblebee - I think every store is different but why not give it a try? I posted on another thread that practically everything I've bought (full price damnit) from Girlshop has gone on sale about 2 days later. It's so annoying.

i think you should totally do it--that really does suck and it's not like you're wearing out the clothes and then returning them, the pants can be resold just fine so i wouldn't worry about it.

I would do it. I don't do it too often mostly out of laziness but if it's more than $50 I'd probably make the effort. If you're able to buy the exact same item in the same size and color for that price I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. At this point the store is willing to take that much for the item anyway.
