Hey girls, I'm on the hunt for a pair of teal shoes. I've searched a bit on line and haven't really come up with much. I've found these:
which are okay, but I don't think the brand (chinese laundry) are very comfortable.
I'd ideally like a pointy-toe pump or a peep toe, no more than 3" heel, probably would prefer suede or satin over leather, and would like to keep them to $150 or under. Enough variables for y'all? :)
I know some of you are better searchers than I am on this stuff. I'd be thrilled to see what you can find!
TIA

I saw some recently at Belk by Tahari and I loved them! They were about $95 and had a kind of chunky heel (not too chunky, but it wasn't a stilletto either). I haven't found them online at Piperlime, Nordstrom, or Zappos, but I've seen them on some website. I'll keep looking for you.
Okay, I found them and they're the "Mallory" style. Piperlime has them in black only though. They were much cuter in teal:

i saw these at off broadway shoes a couple days ago and loved them!! they were so cute and different, they were $70 there and like NCs said, the teal color is beautiful!!
Thanks, girls. I think what I'm looking for is a more "refined" shoe (though that is a cute style!). I don't really wear patent leather shoes - I'm a size 10 and patent just draws a lot of unwanted attention to how big and shiny my feet look in it .
This is the skirt I'm wanting the shoes for, though I will use them for other things as well:
i love this skirt, but it's a super-dark chocolate brown, and my brown shoes don't really go with it, sadly! I have about 8 pair of brown shoes, but only one really works with this style / color. So I thought I'd try another bold color with it - I have red shoes, but I wanted more than one pair of shoes to wear with it. I have wanted teal shoes for a long time...but I'm really stuck on finding a style I like in teal.

Okay...I am thinking about them. Seeing a picture online of the teal makes me think they might work after all, patent or no. So now I guess I have to look for a Belk or Off Broadway near me...if anyone finds them online in a teal size 10, let me know. And I'm still open to other suggestions.. :)

I think the Tahari ones are gorgeous. I didn't have luck finding equally beautiful options but here are a few that could work.
From 6pm (which doesn't give heel heights so you'd have to eyeball it or confirm elsewhere): Exchange by Charles David Seychelles (If you want something casual) Nine West French Connection Fornarina (not teal but the color looks beautiful. Largest size available is a 41).
None of those are quite what I'm looking for, though the nine west round toes come close. I might order them anyway to wear with other stuff.
I saw the Fornarina ones online - they *are* gorgeous. I seriously considered them before reminding myself to be practical - teal will go much better with most of my wardrobe than that blue will. Though I'm still thinking about them.
I can't find the Tahari ones anywhere in teal. I will try an Off Broadway near me next week and see what's available...

I'm going out of town for the next few days, but when I get back, I'll check my Belk to see if they still have the shoes in teal in your size. They were really cute.
I FOUND THEM You can now shop on-line at DSW.com and I just saw the Tahari Mallory Patent T-Strap Pump in Teal for $69.95 in Size 10 on the site. And if you are already a DSW member and sign-in, you can get free shipping with the code ANYSHIP
Okay, I ordered them. Have been crazy at work and was having problems with the DSW site. 20 minutes on hold and one *very* nice rep later, I'm all set. They should be here by the time I'm back from SF!
Many thanks to all of you for your help. Fingers crossed that they look good on!
