Ok so hubby's boss is taking us all out to dinner, kids too, while he is here in my hubbys territory.  It'll be casual, but I still want to look nice.  I was thinking it was a good excuse to get this dress in black. How flattering do you think the style is?  I have a mommy figure, curvy with a little bit of belly going on (see my stylethread posts).  I want to be sure because I have to order it online plus pay expidited shipping, so after that it would suck to send it back.

Hmm..I think you could do better. It's not figure flattering, IMO. It's a little boxy and the pockets could add bulk to the hips.

I think it's really cute but IMO pockets always add extra heft to the hips!

See, I think it could be cute on you... it seems like you have worn something this cut before and it looked cute. But I do think it's something you won't know until you try it on. Sorry, I don't think I was very helpful aww.gif
