will this be a good look this coming-up spring? what could i wear them with? and has anyone else started thinking about what they like/want for spring?
I actually tried on a skirt similar to that style at the mall this weekend...but it looked too 'Little House on the Prairie' on me. But I'm loving this...
I love the coral color...I think I'm digging coral for spring. I'm also looking for some metallic sandals like these...
I want this hat...I think it's so cool!
Hahaha...now I'm getting really excited to shop for more warmer-weather clothes!
I can't wait for spring and warm weather again! It's not even christmas, but I'm already thinking of my spring wardrobe. I think I just need to go on vacation.
My inspiration for my spring wardrobe is going to be Mary-Kate Olsen and Joss Stone (I actually don't like a lot of the stuff she wears, but I like the feel of her style). I want to wear long skirts, cowboy boots, coeboy hat, lots of ethnic jewelry, and sequins.
ahhh maddie- i am obsessed with those heels from urban! i have been trying to find a way to justify them for some time now, but I am having a hard time... unfortunately.
Ritz, I live in Maine so I won't be able to wear them for months anyways so I'm going to wait and see if they go on sale. After giving it some thought though, I think I'm defintely going to get them. In a way, they're kind of subtle so they will go with a lot of things, but they're also really unique and interesting and will spice up an outfit. You totally need them.
i haven't quite figured out my look yet, but i think the whole boho thing is going to be huge for spring. while normally i would see this as a "bad" thing, the cool thing about this "trend" is that there are lots of ways to interpret it without looking like a trendwhore.
while i haven't actually thought about what i'm going to buy (in the ne, spring is way too far away to start thinking about that) i'm definitely going to be looking for more skirts (i love skirts!) in particular circle skirts, skirts in the style similar to the one bumblebee posted, and long skirts. i'm also going to get some new funky jewelry (i haven't been jewelry shopping in a long time) and looking for things that have kind of an ethnic flair. i'm also going to get a couple pairs of beaded flats like these. and also a pair of cowboy boots. i really want these frye ones (that i can't find a pic. of online but were in lucky) and i'm hoping that i'll find them on sale in feb.
fyi: maddie & ritz, there is a code for 20% off at uo, i believe it's "luckymag" those shoes are currently sitting in my shopping cart and i too am debating the practicality of buying them now versus waiting.
Has anyone seen these shoes in the store and/or tried them on? I think they are beautiful but I've had such bad luck with slingbacks lately - they always slip and fall off of my heel rendering the shoe useless to me while I'm walking. I am just wondering how these would fit and if the strap would stay on or not.

It's from laredoute.com and it's only $25. I've wanted it forever but I kept putting it off but now it's sold out in my size :( I'm hoping they'll restock by the time spring comes around though.
i am favoring bohemian looks lately, too...like honey, I agree you can totally pull off the look without looking like everyone else because there are so many variations....i'll probably incorporate long layered tops, my cowboy boots, skinny scarves, and a slouchy bag, and am excited about looking for vintage jewelry. I will def. be wearing blazers into spring. i actually have a few things in my wardrobe that will work with the boho thing and they are my favorites anyway, so i won't be buying a whole new wardrobe. I also like the grecian top thing featured in Lucky...if i can find something like that i'll be excited b/c I think it'll work with my body type.
I wear tons of skirts in the warmer months, too, so I'll just be looking to find one or two new ones, but mostly i'll be hunting for cute tops to wear with them.
Does the boho look ever *really* go out? Really? I don't know, it seems to cycle around so often I think at this point it would be OK most of the time. I'm so sick of the mags/editorials pretending that the "return of femininity" and "boho chic" and "citrus colours on nails" etc. is something *new* every spring. Cuz it isn't. Which doesn't mean I don't like it, I do, I just wish Vogue would actually do some real research and thinking instead of sleepwalking through the fashion seasons.
Ahem. Rant.

bumblebee- I actually just got the white and light blue- I am pretty casual, but it looks cute with flips flops and a tank, or dressier sandals. I like them because I can dress them up or down and go funky.

Okay, I keep going into their website to see if they carry my size and I'm having issues with it! I can only see a few pictures of tops and then after a message pops out saying it cant show me anymore. What the hay!? Oh, and they tend to run a little big right? I usually wear a Large...
