question about j crew skirt/sizing

This skirt is now on sale at JCrew for $39.99.  I have been lusting over it so I may order it.  Has anyone seen it in person and what is your opinion of it? Also, I usually wear an 8 in a skirt, but I was a size 6 at BR.  How does JCrew sizing compare to theirs?  I thought about just ordering a 6 and an 8, but I know retailers now have rules about returns.  I have never ordered from JCrew before so maybe it wouldn't matter if I returned the one that didn't fit.

I would definitely go w/ a 6.  J.Crew sizes are really big, IMO.

Sounds kind of obvious but do you know your measurements? If so, check the size chart! It would make online shopping alot easier.

Well, I am a 28 in the waist and according to the BR size chart I should wear an 8, but I wear a 6 at that store.  Thus, their size charts must be wrong.  I was just wondering if the same might be true of JCrew.

In my experiences JCrew is pretty tts.  I also have your measurement and am a 6 at br but at jcrew last i checked i was an 8 :(
