I always get makeup in mine. How about some warm, fuzzy socks? I just got my mom some angora blend socks and I'm jealous that I already wrapped them and they are going to her and not me.

Lsu--yes I was totally thinking about socks and already had them on the list--great minds! I also have a few makeup items such as eyeliner and lipliner. Thanks for your response though!

Do you have an iPod? I asked for a iTunes gift certifcate to load some music. Nail polish is always good, shampoo and conditioner, cotton balls, makeup remover, face wash. Maybe a pair of slippers, moisturizer, a book. A nice picture frame, hair ties. These are all things I usually get in mine.

I could do away with presents all together and only do stockings. I never had Xmas growing up because my parents are freaks.... so I never had a stocking until I spent Xmas one year with another family!!!!! Anyway, all those years of Christmas envy growing up has put alot of excitement in Christmas in adulthood.

So basically, for me, anything in a stocking... just having a stocking at all is a great thing!

But since you asked specifically...This is what I would want in my stocking:

- Candy (maybe a tiny box containing a few pretty truffles)

- Socks

- Batteries

- Key chain

- Chapstick

- Toothpaste / cool toothbrush

- Soap

- Skincare samples?

- Gift certificates for the movies, restaurants, stores (I gave me bf one to Cold Stone Creamery)

- Mascara

- Travel size bath & body products

I feel like the possibilities are endless!

I love writing letters so I'd love to get cute stationary (monogrammed?). Maybe a jeweled pen, some seals and postage stamps.

I would love a stocking full of gift certificates to my favorite stores. This most likely doesn't apply to you, but I also ask for specific jewelry design supplies and gift certs to the stores I buy from. Maybe you have a hobby that you would like to take up, but just haven't gotten around to getting the supplies--you could ask for that, too.

I also like bubble bath, shower gel, lipgloss, socks, undies (basically things I hate to buy for myself).
