if you are wearing a blazer as part of an outfit (for example, blazer w/ cami under it -- so you wouldn't take the blazer off when indoors), would you wear another coat over it when you're outside?
i am never sure about this, so i end up giving up on the blazer/cami thing once it gets cold enough out that you need a coat. i have shyed away from the double coat thing -- just wondering if you all are okay with it or not.
I always wear a coat over my blazer/cami outfits in the winter. If it is mid-late spring - early fall, I don't wear a coat over my blazer b/c the blazer is usually warm enough on its own. I wouldn't, however, wear a very fitted or cropped coat over a blazer - not different enough to make sense.

This is a good question. It's just getting to be that time of yr when a blazer is not warm enough. I have worn my winter coat over a blazer, but like LMonet, said it has to be different enough....which is totally vague and I'm not even sure *I* know what I mean.
okay. i was thinking about this after i posted and realized that when people wear suits they wear coats over them, so it has to be fine.
i know what you mean about the overcoat being different enough -- i would probably wear my long coat over a fitted blazer, which would be fine. (it would look weird to see a blazer sticking out from under an overcoat.)
