Ummm....I just bought a house. Singed the contract this morning!
Holy Cow...I feel like such a grown up.
I'll post pics later, it's nothing spectacular, but I can't wait to start fixing it up. I was really lucky, the owner just put a new roof on, new carpet and flooring, new plumbing, new light fixtures, and new paint! Plus it's in a great neighborhood, I have a school teacher and a district Judge for neighbors, but the best part was the price. I can double my house payments and it will still be cheaper than renting anything around here....plus the rent houses around scary.
SOOOO...yay...can't wait to ask for decorating tips!

Not a house, but I did some weekday shopping. I've been having a rough time lately, so I splurged on a massage and then popped into some nearby stores...
and some wooden earrings, stone(?) earrings, and a candle holder not online.
ETA: Thanks to travelgirl for finding this skirt for my other thread! I actually went into Francesca's looking for the red one, but they only had this. I didn't think much of it when I saw it in the other thread, but I really liked it once I tried it on!

Cole Haan 'Lacie' flat sandal in green patent. They're so happy and not hippie. YAY!
Smashbox High Definition Healthy FX Foundation SPF 15. Got a great review in the LA Times this weekend so all the Sephoras around here were running really low. I really like this...the finish is flawless and it stays put like a dream. in L4
And a bunch of wooden hangers, some sweater boxes, cedar blocks, and hanging file folders from the Container Store.
Hey Relrel - what's your opinion on the fit of the Ann Taylor pants compared to the Gap pants? I've got the same AT ones and love the fit, but I've been considering trying the Gap version to get some more colors. Thoughts?
