wow, i was too tired to go through the site last night but you ladies managed to pick out a number of things that i've been coveting.

so hot, though i fear it might look hideous on me

i really like the kimberly faith jewelry.

and mia, that dress is gorgeous. i saw it when i was browsing the other week and almost died when i saw the price!

i don't know, i feel kind of weird about asking this girl to use her discount for me. she's only been going out with my friend for a few months. but she did volunteer.
i'll probably see her again soon so maybe i can try to work it into the conversation.
do you guys think it would be weird or in poor taste for me to ask?

Hmmm...I don't think it would be that bad. She did offer and she should know better than to offer if she doesn't mean it.

My best friend works at a high end retailer and I sometimes ask her to get thinks for me w/ her discount. I don't take advantage of her and don't ask unless it is a significant amount of savings for me.

You could always give her an out, by reiterating that you will totally understand if she can't do it or if she doesn't feel comfortable doing it.

Of course, I've never worked in retail and I'm sure it can get annoying having people ask to use your discount.

Maybe she'll bring it up again...

cc, I think it would be best to let her job come up in normal conversation and then ask her about the discount. I don't think it would be too bad either to bring it up since she did offer the discount to you and in a really nice way.

I'm in love with the LAMB sweater too, and the Subversive necklace, all the Kimberly Faith jewelry, the gorgeous Mackage coat, and the peach Cigana top Maddie posted.
