I have cankle issues with shoes like that, so I'd pass. But otherwise, if they work for you, go for it.

Banana Republic "Vaughn" platform sandal:  What about these?  The Guess ones are okay, I just personally do not care for ankle straps.  If you feel the same way, I thinkt he BR sandals are a good alternative.  I might get them myself but I am not sure if I can walk around in that high of a heel!

I am not really into that look, but that is just me. I feel like all of the girls I see wearing shoes like that in Chicago are dressed like tramps (which is probably the reason for my dislike of them). Or maybe my age is just showing, HA!

I'm not a huge fan because I don't like "heavy" shoes. But of all the shoes I've seen in that style, I like them best!

I love them on other people but not myself, being a curvy 5'4" girl, I can't pull it off.

Ditto. I've seen some I like more, some less. But generally speaking, I like this trend, and I don't say that often.
