Does anyone give their dogs dental bones to help with clean teeth + bad breath that you want to recommend? Traci's breath is getting horrible lately, and the ones I've tried haven't really done much good. She gets a rawhide toy every night and only eats dry food (no table scraps, either). I don't' want to take her to the Vet to get her teeth professionally cleaned, because she's old and the vet doesn't think it's worth the risk to put her under. But no one wants to pet her when she smiles at them because she emits nasty breath.

Have you ever tried brushing her teeth? Ours decided she liked it once she figured out the toothpaste was so tasty!
we do this too! it works wonders, and he loves it. They make all different flavors of doggie toothpastes, but Fala loves the vanilla one (fine by me, I'd rather smell that than something bacon or cheese scented!)
