I am so so so frustrated. I go out shopping and nothing fits me. What actually does fit, doesn't look good. None of the current styles look suit me. I am so sick of skinny pants, leggings and empire waist tops.
I was trying to buy pants this weekend. Zara is usually my go-to store where everything always works, but nothing looked good. All their trousers were cut really skinny and for me, it doesn't work. My Gap and BR doesn't carry long lengths. I can't afford to shell out for Theory (etc) at the moment. I just need some inexpensive work pants! Is it so hard?
Is anybody else having a really hard time with clothes lately?
Oh yeah I am. I am in serious need of new clothes for work and for fun, and I'm having a really hard time finding anything I like, and just finding basic pieces. I feel like I'm settling for stuff.
Yes! But for me at least it's been getting a little better lately, since wider-leg pants and jeans are starting to creep into the stores and tops are getting a little less voluminous. Last year was the worst when the only things out there were huge tent-tops and the skinniest pants evah. Does it normally take a little more time for new shapes/styles to make it to Canada?
I'm actually having the worst time finding shoes, of all things. Everything seems to look or fit weird lately .

I feel your pain. I feel like pants are either too big or too small, too short or too long...and I am just sick of winter clothes. No more sweaters!!!!
Don't you hate how when you have money to spend you can't find anything, but when you don't have the money you want everything you see?
I hear you...my problem area is pants...I can never find any that look decent, much less good on me. And I tend to be pretty harsh with myself so when I'm in that dressing room trying something on and it doesn't fit...I kind of lose it and hate myself for the rest of the day.
