I really like the leather bags on Urban Outfitter's website, however the earliest any is available is April or May!!  Does anyone have alternatives at a similar price range? (or know if this backorder date is off)

The brand is listed as Sabina and its an online exclusive or Urban Outfitters.  I assumed it might be their brand, but I'll see if I can't find the brand somewhere else - thanks for the idea!

The brand on both of these bags is Sabina - I want the one on the right, too!  The backorder on that one in rose or gray is March 1st, green or tan is April.  The pics for the gray won't show on the site right now so I'm holding off, but I'll probably order that one as soon as I can see which color I want despite the backorder hmm.gif.

I've found the brand elsewhere, but they must be from last season.  I haven't seen either of these bags anywhere else yet.

WTF? If you order now do they charge your card? or charge when they ship?

I'd hope they wait to charge the card until the bag ships - I haven't ordered it yet, just choked on my coffee when I read "backordered until 5/17/08"

Hmmm, on my computer it says 4/10 as a backorder date (for the green or tan).  What's up with that?!

Oh, and I called them about the two colors you can't see on the website.  They can't see them either, so they couldn't tell me what the gray looked like.  Harumph!

I ordered the bag on the right 2 days ago (which i cancelled yesterday) and they apparently put a hold on my checking account.  It says that they won't actually charge your account until the bag actually ships, but they do put a hold on it to make sure you have the money in your account.
