It's Marley's birthday today!  I can't believe she's 1 already!  And we all survived!

This is what she looked like the day we brought her home, at 2 months:

And here she is today, with Wubba (the birthday toy she picked out, which is now missing a leg, wait make that two, since I took this pic 5 minutes ago) in her Happy Birthday bandana:

There is a birthday hat that goes with this ensemble, but I have not yet been allowed to put it on smile.gif.  Will update with that pic later if I'm successful!

It's amazing how fast they grow! Our 6 month old pup is already about 70 pounds and still growing...

She looks very happy with her birthday toy, even if it does only last for today. :)

Boo got a wubba from his aunt as a gift for dogsitting his blind poodle cousin (actually, I did the hard work, he just hung out and kept her company).

PS, do you like the Wubba? It's Sully's birthday next week and I was debating one, but I wasn't sure how durable they are.

awww she's so cute! cheese loves his wubba too, it's his favorite toy to destroy!


haleybird Cheese loves his wubba wubba, we got him this one
which is different then Marley's snuggle wubba. We've had it for 6 months and he's just now been able to totally destroy it. He typically destroys toys in anywhere from 5 minutes to a day. Definately a good dog toy!

Good to know Collette!  She picked the Snuggle Wubba herself (she had the choice between that and the Wubba Wubba) because she looooves soft nubby fabric smile.gif.  I didn't argue because I figured either would get destroyed anyhow, but next time we'll try the Wubba Wubba!

FWIW Halleybird, I think the Wubba Wubba squeaks, whereas the Snuggle Wubba does not.  I don't know how durable the squeaker is (Collette?) so I'm not sure if it would be an issue or not, depending on how fast one killed the squeaker.  I make heavily braided fleece toys for Marley, so I might try to re-wrap the Snuggle Wubba in fleece after she un-Snuggles it, too ...

And I really like saying Wubba biggrin.gif.
