This dress is totally what I had in mind for wearing to my brother's wedding- something really pretty but relaxed and comfortable and beach-appropriate.
For the ceremony I would need a cover-up of some sort (its in a catholic church) a shrug or a wrap or something. Any ideas? Also what kind of shoes, bag, jewelry?
Chloegirl...I saw that you ordered it, can you review for me?
I think that dress is wonderful. The coloring would work really well with your skin tone and hair and it's something you can get a lot of wear out of.
I would probably stick with silver shoes, not sure if any other color would work. But jewelry might be fun to play with- perhaps something emerald-ish?

I think you could do all kinds of colors with that dress. I love a deep, reddish bronze (almost copper color) with blue. A wedge thong would look nice since it's on the beach. Is any part of the wedding actually on the beach, because you'd want to consider heel choice if it is.
I'd pick one thing first (shoes, bag, wrap) and then coordinate the rest. I'll go searching and post some suggestions.
If you decide to go with a more neutral, nude shoe, how about a brighter color for the wrap? I like these colors: (without the print) (I like orange and blue but it's a personal taste.)
I also saw a beautiful, red, cashmere shawl at Nordies but it was pretty pricey for a wrap.
I can't find any online at this very moment but a deep navy would be very pretty as well, and I'm really liking the idea of something emerald like relrel suggested.

Sure! When it comes in, I'll let you know what I think about the fit and feel and post some pictures. It's really pretty on the website, I'm hoping it looks just as nice in real life!
I looked at the Target website to see if they had some different colors and came across this pashmina:
It's hard to tell colors online but it might be really striking with the blue of your dress. Or it might be boring - depends on the richness of the color.
