I think the style name is actually Ellipse, but I don't think that I've ever seen it in the Damier Azur print (or regular Damier, for that matter), so I am not sure they make it. You could always call the LV boutique or the 1800# and see. I believe LV does custom bags, as well.

I'm with HB - I don't think i've ever seen the Ellipse in the daimer or daimer azur. Sometimes replicas are made in shapes/prints that were never actually manufactured. I do think you should call though. They'll definitely have the information you need or be able to tell you if they could do a custom for you.

It has never been made by LV - yet. I know they are releasing the new spring 08 line soon and the azur line is supposed to be expanded. Not sure what styles yet though ---

Thanks everyone. I imagine it would cost alot to have one custom made. I may get the speedy like halleybird's or wait to see what is new in the Azur line.

I think I read somewhere that the custom bags are not THAT bad (relatively speaking). If you search on the purse forum, I am sure someone has posted it. I think it's 20% over the regular cost? Or something like that?

I do love my speedy, though. FWIW, I had a bag shaped like the ellipse once, and it was a PITA to carry.

I totally second the speedy in the azur print! I love my monogram speedy - it holds a ton!

Plus the azur print is soooo pretty and fresh for spring, that might be my next bad I save up for!
