I want to buy my husband a leather jacket for Christmas. He has one that he wore all the time, but he lost 15 lbs this year, and it looks ridiculous on him now. Has anyone seen any great ones? I know nothing about men's clothes. I don't want anything too "biker" or "metro" looking, since he tends to wear jeans/cargo shorts/t-shirts/polos about 90% of the time. And nothing too cropped, since he has a really long torso.
Any suggestions? I'd like to keep it under $250 if possible.

Is this too cropped? It's on sale for $268.50 at Kenneth Cole.
I was going to suggest Banana, but discovered they are smoking crack. This jacket is $1200!?!! I don't care if it's well made, it's Banana Republic for crying out loud!
Other than that, I would suggest trying TJ Maxx/Marshall's, etc.

This GAP one is $298 but it might go on sale closer to Christmas or maybe there's a code out there? They sent me a 20% off coupon in the mail, maybe you can track one down? ( I used mine already!)

I don't know if you have a Wilsons near you but you could try thier website they have some nice and inexpensive jackets there. My whole family has owned a Wilsons jacket at least once and they last for a long time with out wearing out.
thanks for the ideas, guys! I think I want black, since that's what his old one was. I am going to see if there's a KC outlet here. Ranchera- I totally forgot about Wilsons! There used to be one here, but I think it closed. I may order one, though!
