I have franco sarto black riding boots similar to the ones posted and I must say they are the best boots. I can't believe how comfortable they are, I do alot of walking and have never got blisters or anything. If you have a Ross near you I would check them out, I got my Franco Sartos for 19.99 from there and they retail for 190!

I just saw a picture of Franco Sarto elsewhere... the heel is nicer but the calves are a just a smidge too wide for my tastes.

I've never liked the shape of Born shoes/boots. They remind me of Earth shoes.

I like them, although they're not my all-time favorite riding boots. I have a pair of JCrew riding boots that I love.
