Okay, so I'm still a little fluffy after having a baby. I can wear my normal size, but I'm still blubbery in not-so-nice areas. I have a holiday party on December 7. I have a few sets of Spanx I can wear to hide my lumps, but I'm still stumped as to what to wear/how to wear it. I'm out of the fashion loop! Here is my dress Lilly Pulitzer, fuschia.
And I bought these shoes but in a bronze color
I don't have to wear the shoes. I bought them to wear w/ another bronze dress (that's also still an option, but I can't find a picture of it).
Ideas or suggestions for jewelry, hose, accessories? I just need HELP!
I think your dress is cute, and amaaaaazed that you're already back to almost-normal!
If the style of shoe you have works with your dress I say keep. Then I'd add a fabulous (eyecatching, maybe collar-style?) necklace and a great clutch, to be used a la a 'Kelly' bag to distract from areas you're uncomfortable with. Do you ever wear contacts for special occasions? The only reason I ask is because since I got glasses (we wear similar styles, I think) my big statement earrings never look quite right IMO the big earrings + frames looks a bit ... cluttered sometimes? So! I'd go either glasses + necklace or contacts + earrings, personally.

Y'know, turquoise would be kinda neat - unexpected and textural! I don't think you have to avoid metals altogether though, as long as you stay in warm tones. It would coordinate without being matchy. Actually it seems like a necklace can really set the tone for the whole getup - pearls or rhinestones would be a classic glamour look; monochromatic stones would be a sophisticated take; multi-colored stones (or turquoise) would be an offbeat playful take; all-black would be an edgy look; etc. Depends on what you're going for! What kind of party is it? Work, friends, family?

All I wanted to add is that I'm not talking to you... you barely had that baby and you can already wear your old size
Ok, I'll actually contribute to the thread What about a open cardi, not quite a cardi wrap, something like this but obivously not t-shirt material and not this color: That would keep you warm and disguise any fluff. You'll look pretty in that dress, it's a good color for you.
