Hi ladies!

I spotted a gorgeous tote on the street today and I must have it. But I don't know who makes it, so I was hoping you guys could help me identify it.

It was a large, square-ish, tan leather tote with braided accents criss-crossing over it. It had some kind of small gold rectangle logo on the side.

Any ideas? Thank you to anyone who might be able to help!

this sort of sounds like the kooba sloane, but i don't know if they have braided ones.

Ooh that Kooba Sloane is gorgeous, but unfortunately that's not the bag. It's not Goldenbleu or Anya either. The bag looked vaguely familiar which makes me think it's a much more mainstream designer. Any other guesses? I want it so badly!

Cricket-- that is close, except there are no chains (just braided leather). I'd say the bag looks like a perfect combination between the one you posted and the one Erin posted. Any other ideas? I've totally become obsessed with finding this bag now. I've been searching every site I can think of. Thank you so much to those of you weighed in with your suggestions!

the tag hanging off of it, was it a skinny rectangle (like Nine West or Liz Claiborne)?  Those are the two, more mainstream brands that might have a rectangle tag ... Calvin Klein?  I, of course, am not going by styles I've seen- -just the tag.

The tag wasn't hanging off the bag-- it was a gold rectangle on the side of the tote. I wasn't close enough to read what was written on the rectangle (the logo I'm assuming). I swear this bag is going to start haunting my dreams.
