I posted before about wanting a tan leather tote.  I am torn between these two.  It something I'd basically use as a carry all, from trips to the wineries to play dates.  Here's the details:
1.
Dimensions: 19 1/2" wide across bottom, 18" wide across top x 4 1/4" deep x 12" high.  I like that this is big without looking huge.
2.
19" x 13.5" x 6" I like the classic styling of this one.

I like #1 much better, but I don't know if something more like #2 in terms of dimensions might fit your needs better.

I'd go with #1.  I like the styling of it better and you could carry it on your shoulder.

if 2 had longer straps (to fit over shoulder) i'd STRONGLY prefer it.  I think its a lot more classic and elegant, and i prefer the clean lines and structure.

 I voted for the first one, but Lynnie is right. I would like the second one if the straps were longer and better placed.
