help! Dress challenge

My company has just announced this year's office Xmas party will be a semi-formal dinner/dance/cocktails do. I need a new dress!

Here's the problem though...We are part of a bigger parent company, which is a bit on the conservative side. My bosses don't know that I am tattooed. So I need a dress that covers up my ink (back and shoulder/top of my arm).

Criteria:
-any length, color, neckline. I'm not particular about that.
-must have at least a small sleeve, definitely not backless
-versatile, so I can wear it again sometime
-not too terribly expensive

Can anyone help me out?

what about doing sepeartes- like a pretty fitted sweater with a long ball-gowny skirt (is that too formal?) i feel like D posts an outfit liek that last year that was stunning.
