My beautiful Rocket Dog riding boots arrived yesterday and they are too big in the calves Is it possible to take the calves in? There is a shoe repair store in the town where I work and I thought I would go by during lunch and ask. I just wanted to ask you girls first so that if it wasn't, the guy wouldn't think I was crazy.

What style were your boots? I went by during lunch and did not take them with me because I just wanted to be sure it could be done. He said he had done it before but it would depend on the style of boot. I hope he can do mine. He only charges $10

Yeah, the guy just measured my calves and custom fit them to me. I don't bother unless they are really big.
Bloomie, the ones I got done were ones that zipped up the side. They had a seam on the back and I can't remember if they had one on the side. But I would imagine that is what would determine if he could do them or not, depending on where the seam is and how much needs taken up. HTH!

Thanks. I will update you on what happens.
