Bumbo Baby Seats Recalled!
Permalink Closed

Apparently the company is claiming some parents arent using the seats properly and are recalling them for safety reasons.  I know a lot of moms use this product, so I just wanted to alert all the new moms:

yeah I saw this earlier..

not to sound like a snot (which I'm sure I will anyway!)
but I never quite understood why parents felt safe putting their child in that thing and on top of a table, counter top etc etc..although I guess the manufacturers made it seem like this was ok.

I mean I used it with Jola but I always put it on the ground..because my child at the tender age of 4 months was shifting her body, tipping it over and wiggling her little butt out of that thing..
I'm sure other kids figured they could so the same!

It's such a shame kids got hurt though...that makes me sad..

Yeah, I agree ayo! And the warning on the box already clearly states not to put it on raised surfaces and not to leave the baby unattended and that the baby can easyily tip over. It's called parental supervision! And Bumbo isn't redesigning them, only modifing the warning label.

I too am sorry that babies got hurt cry.gif

This is crazy. There's nothing wrong with the seat, there's nothing wrong with the box. There's something wrong with the parents who think they can put there child in it, on top of a counter, and walk away. They need to be counter sued by Bumbo for being idiots!
