I bought this Carmen Marc Valvo dress on e-bay for $100.  It is silk and has beading around the gold leaf areas.  I've never tried on a dress by this designer (small city without great selection) so I am hoping the quality is good.  Anyone familiar with the brand?

What would you wear with it?  I have a gala in Nov. and may also wear it for NYE.

Looks stunning!
I'd pull up the hair and wear some gorgeous long earrings, but no necklace....the neckline speaks for itself, IMO.

Great dress and I love the dress I have by CMV. I like the suggestion of long gold earrings, hair up, no necklace.

The couple of pieces I have from CMV are great quality. I also like the idea of keeping it simple with the hair up and gold accessories.

Thanks all. I was a little worried about a print for formal but I like the cut and the colors are good. I will take the advice and wear my hair up and either large hoops or longer earings.

CMV is extremely good quality, women wear him on the red carpet. I think you got an incredible deal, I saw some of his dresses on sale at Nordstroms for about $400.
