I'm in need of black flat boots in any style that I can wear to work (casual), bum around it, and not care about ruining since I kill shoes. These are on ebay going for 7.99.

Do we like? Am I just blinded by the fact that they just might fit my legs? My calves are 16" and barely fit J. Crew extended calf...

agreed. if you have problems fitting your calves anyway and the price is that low, I think you should go for it.

Are they lower in the back than in the front? I"m having a hard time telling in the pic. If they're the same height all around, I'd go for it..otherwise, no.

I decided against them...I always tend to regret the impulse vintage purchases I make on Ebay. Also, as it turns out, the calf circumference was an inch too small anyway. (argh!)
