So I bought a pair of gray skinny jeans last winter during the whole craze. Although skinny jeans aren't as much in vogue now as they were then, I want to keep wearing them for variation during the upcoming year, and especially with tall boots. The problem is that I really have no idea what to wear with them!! Last year I almost exclusively did my tall, flat black boots with either a black shirt or sweater. What else goes with gray pants?! Thanks in advance for helping me brainstorm.
The gray color will keep the skinny style fresher for this year. I think you can wear just about any color with them. I've always liked cream with some shades of gray. For more fun, try fuschia/hot pink, electric/inky blue, plummy or soft purples, dusty sage, monochromatic grays, super cool mochas. Little, spunky jackets over slim tunics, turtlenecks. I could think of a ton.
Thanks for the suggestions! I don't know why it is always so hard for me to envision outfits with them. I think that it's because they're an unusual color as well as shape for me. I like the idea of wearing the grey jeans with creams and other cool neutrals as well as the deep jewel colors. If anyone else has suggestions of how they've worn their grey skinnies, or how they would, feel free to share!
