My mother-in-law and her husband foster cats who are awaiting adoption. My husband was at their house this week and fell in love with "Charlotte," pictured below. As you can see, she's super pretty. He brought her to our place on a trial basis. I'm excited to have her, but I don't think we can keep her. Our established cat, Quimby, is not happy and the new cat has some health problems that are too much for us right now. I'm bummed.



I wanted to name her Verbena.

What a great, great thing for your in-laws to do!  I'm so sorry you can't keep her - she is quite a cutie and Verbena would fit her perfectly! 

It's good that you recognize her health problems would be difficult to deal with now, instead of adopting her and getting really attached before realizing it.  They can be expensive little buggers!

Maybe it would help you feel better to help find her a nice home?  If you can see where she's going and know she'll be well cared for I bet you'd feel better.
