It is Friday, right? Whee, I've never been the first one to start a shopping thread!
Got some new bras.
Gabrielle by Fantasie in pink.

Legende Demi by Chantelle in mauve.
I still need a t-shirt bra, so I might order one of those too.
That Chantelle is very pretty but I LOVE the Fantasie! I got the exact same one last week and it is my! favorite! bra! Very soon I'm going to order it in one of the other colors.
Went to Target yesterday:
and my ever thing of shapewear (not counting control-top pantyhose, of course):
I feel dumpy and fat that I need this

ttara - I'm glad to hear you love it! It had some good reviews on Figleaves (as did the two Chantelle bras). I might order the Fantasie t-shirt bra too. :)
I hope they fit - I sized down in the band and sized up in the cups, but I just kind of guessed my size. Oh well - at least I got free shipping on one and a discount on the other 2.

I sort of fell off the shopping wagon this past week, but I didn't get around to posting until now:
1 - Black shift beach dress from J. Crew - super sale and super cute for work - it's really light cotton with a sort of retro full skirt.
2 - This cute strapless polkadot dress - the silouette makes me look slightly pregnant from the side, but I think it is super cute and easy - plus it has no waist, so in the event I am ever pregnant, it would be great for summer parties. And my husband thinks it's the cutest dress ever, so I'm inclined to think it must be pretty adorable :)
I'm sorry - for some reason my computer isn't letting me paste images! I think it's a sign that the fab law school/bar laptop is slowing down and might need to be replaced!
3 - Light blue monogrammed notes from Crane - I've had a lot of thank you's to write and sadly some condolences, so I needed some more "formal stationary"
4 - Two more place settings of my silver - I am now just trying to complete my registry (two years after the wedding!).
All in all - nothing super exciting, but stuff that I need - and it's been yucky hot in LA - so the dresses are really a necessity!
Another day of "accidental shopping." I went downtown NYC to buy discount tickets to A Chorus Line and stopped by Century 21 and Sephora.
from Sephora: This Urban decay "Eye shadow transformer" to turn your powder shadows into liner...yeah yeah I know water works too ;)
I found the PERFECT lip stain...by mixing the baby boo and cupid's breath lip stains from Vincent Longo it gave me the perfect wine stained lip!
More stuff...
At my stylist insistance that I shouldn't wash my hair every day...
Some cute tops and a theory skirt at Century 21 and I would have blown a lot of money on cosabella and DG undies except the lines got to be so long I talked myself out of the impulse buy in time!
Then I tried on this coat, and I had to have it. I know it's simple, but it fits really well, and I loved how it looked on me. I'm trying to justify the price by saying it's a "classic:
front back
and three dresses from H&M that I can't find pictures for.
Carrie Bradshaw: The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.
