Going to a high school without a dress code is nice sometimes, but in the warmer seasons, I need to wear shorts, other than jeans that I like to wear every other days...
I just think that shorts in general are really unflattering to legs, well maybe just mine, and they are really uncomfortable and dont fit right, thought that may be because Im wearing an Old Navy khaki pair a size or 2 too big. 

Id rather just wear sport shorts to school, but due to dress code, we cant.

Do you all have any suggestions for a pair(s) of "flattering" or comfortable shorts, like jean shorts or khakis, though the shorts can be any color design, anything.

JCrew has really nice shorts, but are there any other options?

Some of my favorite shorts are from Target (Mossimo). Banana Republic had a cute cuffed pair a while ago, too.

I have the pair from BR, I don't see them online anymore but I wish I had bought another pair in a different color.  I have been thinking I need to check my BR to see if there are any left.  They were featured in Lucky Mag a few months ago.

I mentioned that I love my JCrew shorts. I know you want a different suggestion, but they are just the best! I got the 5" and 7" Chino Shorts in Navy and British Khaki. This is the first season in years I have purchased shorts because- -like you- - I have found them to be so uncomfortable. JCrew's are comfy; and they are on sale!
