While my kids were at camp this morning, I stopped at Michael's to get some paint and letters to do my own (instead of shelling out $10+ for ones at the store). We don't have a name yet, so BABY will have to do.
Whaddya think?
I have ribbons that I used for my lampshade that I'll tie them up with (I'll post the shade later).
You did a great job!! The only thig, the A seems a little out of place. Could you add some pink and blue to it? The design is great, I think just because there is no pink or blue in it, it doesnt quite fit in.

Yeah, originally the Y was going to be black w/ white polka dots, but I didn't want to overload on black. I have zebra ribbon I'll use to hang up at least one of the letters to hopefully help balance out the black.
If it makes any difference, I also have zebra sheets for the baby!
Oh, I love it! Great job. I was at Bombay Kids this weekend and I totally thought of you when I was looking at the Gigi (French poodle) collection. Too cute!

I wish I had one of those near us. I really want those little wooden bins, but they're sold out! I did get the "le woof" pillow, though. Soooo cute!
Wow, those are awesome! I would totally pay someone on ebay to do that for me, they are so professional.
Sorry for the dumb question but how did you get everything so straight and perfect? Did you do it in pencil first, then outline with a brush? I would love to make some for DD when she gets her own room.

Thanks!
I actually just did it freehand. I found some letters that I liked the pattern on, and I just copied the ones that I liked. The only one that was tough was the zebra one, just because it was labor-intensive.
