OK, so after about 12 years of denial, I've decided to throw out all my 34Bs, beause the only time they fit properly is when I am standing in the dressing room, pushing my shoulders back, yanking the straps up, and eyeing myself hopefully. This is not really about being in denial about the size of my boobs, it's about being in denial about having to hunt down 34As, which seem to be rarer than unicorns, and possibly (horror) having to pay full price for them. I've been shopping for lingerie at Marshall's, Filene's, et. al for as long as I can remember, and I love it because I get $45 bras for $15. Buuuut, they never have my ACTUAL size (that is, the size that fits perfectly all the time, without my having to result to contortions), hence the proliferation of baggy, too-big bras in my closet. A quick check of bloomingdale's and target online reveals that apparently not everyone thinks girls with A-cups actually exist, or that if we do, we don't need any kind of shaping and supporting layer between us and our tops. I appreciate the confidence in my ability to resist gravity but really I do actually want to wear a bra.
So, can anyone recommend some stores or brands that have good, wearable, and hopefully not insanely expensive everyday bras in A sizes?

Have you had a professional bra fitting? We all know that statistic about 8 out of 10 women wearing the wrong bra size and everything...and the bigest error people make is having too big a band size. And when you go down a band size, you have to go up a cup letter to keep the cups the same size. So if you get a bra fitting and they tell you your band is too big, then you're automatically bumped up to a B again! yay!
But if you are an A for sure, Amazon has 893 results, and for stuff like that Amazon is actually just the place that helps the real store make the sale, and they always give you a link so you know where this product is coming from. So if you find a bra you like, you can see which place is selling it and maybe could find more. HTH

Oooo...Don't try looking for 32Bs; they are more difficult to find than 34A. Stores simply stopped carrying 32B bras- -unless you want the ones that add a cup size or have industrial-strength cups! 32B is nice and snug in the band, so I don't go around wearing my bra as a necklace whenever I need to reach my arms over my head.
I like www.barenecessities.com. When they have a sale on your favorite brand, it's a great time to buy.
